There will be no American Legion Hillsboro Post 129 baseball team this summer.

The team that calls Shaffer Park their home won't have a ’24 summer season, as confirmed by Scott Morgan, the general manager of the program and past head coach for the summer team.

Not having coaches available to coach the team on a day-to-day basis is the main reason for not having a schedule this summer, Morgan told The Highland County Press.

Post 129 baseball is a senior league team for 19-year-olds and under, and last season Hillsboro also had a junior league team. They are a member of the South Central Ohio League.

Last season, Post 129 had 18 players on the senior roster, finishing with a 4-18 record.
