For the first time in program history, the McClain Lady Tigers soccer team gained a regular-season sweep over the Hillsboro Lady Indians, as they completed the second leg of that accomplishment Thursday night by a 2-1 score.
Adelynn Marple, seventh grader at Greenfield Middle School, and Bailey and Brooklyn Raike, third graders at Greenfield Elementary, recently competed in the 2023 Cincinnati Reds Baseball/Softball Skills Champions Day at Great American Ball Park.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the official weekly football computer ratings Tuesday. The computer ratings are released every Tuesday beginning in the fifth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday, Oct. 22, when 448 schools – the top 16 in each region – will qualify for the playoffs.
The McClain, Lynchburg-Clay, Fairfield and Whiteoak boys golf teams competed in Southeast District sectional boys golf tournaments Sept. 26-27, with the LC Mustangs advancing to the district round.
