Premier Showmen members share knowledge through demonstrations

Members of the Premier Showmen 4-H Club recently completed educational demonstrations during their June meeting, providing fellow members with the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics and skills.

Luke Boeckman demonstrated ways to improve field drainage, while Ethan Clouser taught members how to properly use a microscope. 

Easton Dhume shared the process of making homemade laundry soap, and Dwight Hamilton presented information on preparing to artificially inseminate a cow. Kennedy Hamilton explained the four chambers of a cow's stomach and how they function.

Kalen Juillerat demonstrated the proper technique for throwing a baseball, while Kenley Juillerat conducted a science experiment showing how soap can separate pepper from water. Khloe Juillerat taught members how to braid a ponytail.

Cole Lumen demonstrated the proper safety attire needed for welding, and Brooklyn Stevens showed members how to determine whether an egg is fresh or bad using a float test. Colton Warnock explained how to properly set the height of a fishing bobber, while Beau Watson demonstrated how to make a homemade minnow catcher.
 
Zach Watson taught members how to tie a fishing lure knot, and Easton Zink demonstrated several useful rope knots.

Demonstrations are an important part of the 4-H experience, helping members build confidence in public speaking, develop leadership skills, and share knowledge with others. The Premier Showmen members did an outstanding job educating their fellow club members while showcasing their individual interests and talents.
